The purpose of the RoR Developer is to develop and support business applications in addition to providing support and communication between IT and various business units. This position is responsible for ongoing support and development of CRM applications written in Borland Delphi and Ruby on Rails.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Ruby, MSSQL, and .NET.
- Perform responsibilities as directed within determined timeframes and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ruby on Rails development preferred (similar experience will be considered).
- MySQL DB, PostgreSQL, and Delphi 2006 experience preferred.
- Two plus years experience required in Microsoft .Net development and MSSQL DB.
- Suse Linux or related experience required.
- MS Windows experience required.
- Project management skills required.
