Ruby on Rails Developers
Software Developer Independent Contractor
Requirements:
Independent, self starter and motivated to learn. Minimum two years experience with Ruby/Rails. Experience with developing in Unix/Linux/OS X. Intermediate or better SQL and Active Record. (ideally Sybase or PostgreSQL). Creativity and problem solving skills are integral to project challenges. Ability to take 3rd party or free (OSS) software and partner APIs and integrate them into our application. General Ledger Accounting principles desired.
Demonstrate the ability to generate clean, maintainable and documented code following best practices.
Will need to provide examples of professional work done. Examples of source code (do you have a github account?)
Dedication and loyalty to project. Good multitasking and priority management skills. Detail oriented.

- XHTML / HTML5 ( preferred)
- CSS 2 / CSS 3 (preferred)
- JavaScript (jQuery)
- Source code management with Git
