TEKsystems is hiring Ruby on Rails Developers for our client in Iowa City, Iowa. This is an exclusive 12 month contract opportunity.
TOP THREE SKILLS
- Ruby on Rails 2-7 years exp.
- PHP
- Customer Service Mentality
This team is responsible for developing applications and forms with Ruby on Rails & PHP to assure that the research teams within are meeting all required guidelines in their research to assure that they will continue to obtain the funding needed. Currently their most pressing project is going to be creating the web applications & forms to assist in managing and maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
The Team is a collaborative Agile Environment. They do practice "Paired Programming", and have a true Agile Environment, no cubicles, everyone has their hands in every project. This has been an adjustment, but they have found that they are putting out more impressive work and always on time and within budget since truly converting to this mentality. Everyone has specific parts of the projects that they can take ownership over, but they really work together as a team to complete each project as a whole. 13 member group: 11 Developers (including leads), 1 BA and The Director. They are divided into two groups:
- Compliance Team (This candidate would be joining this group)
- Sponsor Programs Team.
Business Casual environment with Core Business Hours 8-5, M-F
